In this he was aided by the twenty Primarchs, his clone-sons, and the Space Marine Legions formed from their genetic templates. With an army of gene-modded soldiers he won the Unification Wars for Terra, brokered an alliance with the Mechanicum of Mars, and led a Great Crusade to reconquer and reunite the galaxy. When galactic civilization collapsed following the Age of Strife, the Emperor fully revealed himself.
